Boom Cat™ isn’t just a decoration — it’s a little piece of art from Jingdezhen, China, the world’s porcelain capital. Each figurine is handcrafted by independent ceramic artist Juju, inspired by her own beloved cat.
While traveling across China to study traditional and modern firing techniques, Juju missed her cat so much that she sculpted a tiny clay version to carry with her. Friends adored it and soon requested their own — and thus, Boom Cat™ was born. Every cat embodies warmth, independence, and the gentle charm of handmade art.
Each piece goes through a delicate process of hand-shaping, drying, glazing, and firing at 1300°C — taking around five days from start to finish before becoming a completed Boom Cat™. The result is a one-of-a-kind artwork that carries the artist’s touch in every curve and detail.
